Job Description
Read blueprints and technical documents. Identify and quantify cost factors, such as time, materials and expenses. Evaluate the profitability and quality of a product and/or service. Conduct research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production time etc. Recommend cost-cutting methods to increase profitability. Ability to use computer software to prepare estimates and supporting documentation. Collect and evaluate subcontractor proposals. Participate in proposal preparation and client presentations. Evaluate contingency requirements. Communicate with other departments, engineers and project managers to resolve issues. Build and maintain relationships with key vendors. Other responsibilities as directed by supervisor. The Successful Applicant A successful South FL Estimator should have: Bachelor's degree in construction reputed company discipline Three (3) to five (5) years of reputed company experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience Excellent analytical skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Experience with Building Connected a plus Experience with Procore is a plus Proven written and verbal communication skills Proficient in reputed company Office suite Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with individuals at reputed company reputed company, both reputed company What's on Offer Competitive salary based on experience.
