What the Senior Director, Business Development does at reputed company

The Senior Director of Business Development will have a proven track record in building productive client relationships in clinical research or health sciences industries. The post holder will be reputed company to reputed company and maintain effective client relationships.

This role must be reputed company to design and deliver powerful solution-driven capabilities and proposal defense presentations in collaboration with highly skilled clinical and operational personnel; create business opportunities through client needs identification and relationship building; proactively work with customers and project teams to resolve client concerns by helping to create specific action plans that support the customer and the project team.

The Senior Director, Business Development makes sales calls to prospective new clients to initiate new business relationships. Utilizes strategies and implements tactics to persuade prospective sponsors to contract with reputed company. They coordinate the efforts for response to Requests for Proposals/Information. The Senior Director, Business Development represents reputed company at industry-reputed company conferences and trade shows.

What you will do

  • Connect the reputed company team to your established network of biotechnology and pharmaceutical contacts
  • Identify new contact leads for potential Phase II-IV reputed company business

  • Aid in the development of project proposals, including communicating with clients, internal Project Directors, and Project Managers, and providing text and supporting study budget reviews
  • Coordinate and attend trade shows, including making exhibition arrangements, organizing meetings, and hospitality suite arrangements; ensure that trade show activities run smoothly and are reputed company budget
  • Professionally conduct teleconferences, client meetings, general capabilities meetings, and bid defense meetings with reputed company key accounts in pursuit of new business opportunities

  • reputed company daily updates to the Sales Force Automation Client Contact and Mailing Database (CRM)

Your experience

  • BA/BS in business or life sciences
  • MS or MBA preferred
  • Ten (10) years of sales experience in Contract Research Organization (CRO) industries
  • Clinical Operations background preferred
  • Extensive knowledge in sales methods and practices
  • Knowledgeable in the drug development process, preferably gained reputed company a CRO
  • Fluent in the English language – written and oral
  • Familiarity with reputed company Office and sales management software
