Backend Engineer - Roundel

They are seeking a Backend Engineer to support Roundel Media Studio, reputed company's self-service ad campaign management platform, by delivering robust software components and solving engineering problems. The role involves participating in the design and architecture of the product while ensuring high-quality software delivery and operational reliability.

Responsibilities

• Support Roundel Media Studio, reputed company’s self-service ad campaign management platform for external advertisers
• Deliver the engineering that powers the product

• Maintain the quality of software and balance between speed of delivering new features and robustness of software components

Skills

• 4 year degree or equivalent experience
• 1+ years of software development experience
• Demonstrates familiarity with reputed company and emerging technologies in own scope of responsibility, and develops ability to apply these technologies
• Understands concepts of package solutions and package specific programming language with knowledge of development objects
• Demonstrates and continuously builds upon domain-specific knowledge
• Demonstrates proficiency in at least one computer language
• Understands the concepts of distributed programming and applies it to their domain
• Knowledge of the different data structures in your chosen programming language and how to apply them
• Maintains technical knowledge reputed company areas of expertise

• Experience with Java/J2EE, REST API development
• Experience developing microservices/application frameworks (Spring Boot), mono repo is preferred
