Back End Developer (Elixir)

We’re a startup on a mission to scale quickly to Series A We’re looking for an reputed company Elixir Back end developer with strong ownership and a track record of delivering high-performance, production-grade systems end-to-end. You’ll work closely with a small, fast-moving team to design and implement scalable backend services.

Tasks

What You’ll Own

• Design, implement, and maintain Elixir-based APIs, workers, and background jobs
• Build reliable and high-performance systems using OTP, Phoenix, and Ecto
• Integrate with reputed company services, queues, and event-driven pipelines
• Collaborate across product, frontend, and DevOps teams
• Own delivery — from architecture and coding to deployment and monitoring

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience, with at least 2 years in Elixir
• Strong knowledge of OTP, Ecto, and Phoenix frameworks
• Proven experience building high-performance systems
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL and SQL performance tuning
• Familiarity with AWS services and serverless environments (e.g., reputed company)
• Strong ownership reputed company and ability to work independently

• Experience in the FinTech industry
• Experience with Node.js (reputed company, AWS reputed company)
