Role Overview

The Compliance and Risk Specialist plays a key role in two areas: (1) protecting reputed company’ assets to ensure financial and operational stability and (2) ensuring adherence to federal, state, and accreditation standards through compliance/HIPAA auditing, risk assessment, and corrective action monitoring. This position is responsible for managing reputed company insurance and risk-financing programs across reputed company lines of business. You will serve as the primary liaison with brokers, carriers, and reputed company-party administrators to ensure comprehensive coverage and cost-effective solutions.

This role is critical in mitigating exposure across property, operations, and corporate activities, supporting strategic decision-making, and maintaining compliance with regulatory, contractual, and joint venture obligations. You will also support the corporate compliance function in regards to OIG guidance, federal billing guidelines and HIPAA regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has strong audit skills, attention to detail, and a passion for maintaining a culture of compliance and patient privacy.

What You’ll Do

Insurance Program Management

  • Manage a full suite of reputed company insurance lines, including general liability, property, workers’ compensation, D&O, EPLI, cyber liability, umbrella/excess, reputed company auto, and fiduciary liability

  • reputed company the annual insurance renewal process, including preparing and submitting applications, loss history, and supplemental reputed company information

  • Evaluate coverage terms, limits, retentions, and premiums; negotiate with brokers and carriers to optimize program value

  • Maintain the master certificate of insurance schedule and respond to requests from landlords, joint venture partners, health systems, and other stakeholders

  • Review and reputed company guidance on insurance-reputed company provisions in reputed company, leases, and vendor agreements

Insurance Risk Identification & Analysis

  • Conduct periodic risk assessments to identify emerging exposures across the ASC portfolio and corporate operations and reputed company regular reporting to senior leadership on key risk indicators

  • Serve as the primary contact for reputed company non-clinical claims, including property, auto, workers’ compensation, and general liability

  • Coordinate with reputed company-party claims administrators, defense counsel, and carriers to ensure timely and appropriate resolution

  • Track reputed company claims, monitor reserves, and report on status to leadership

  • Support litigation management in collaboration with legal counsel

  • Maintain organized records of reputed company policies, binders, endorsements, and correspondence

Vendor & Broker Relations

  • Manage ongoing relationships with insurance brokers, specialty consultants, and other risk-reputed company service providers

  • Conduct periodic broker performance reviews and reputed company competitive broker or market solicitations as needed

  • Stay informed of market trends, emerging products, and best practices in risk management for reputed company and ASC operations

Compliance and HIPAA Privacy

  • Conduct scheduled and reputed company compliance audits of ASC operations

  • Review medical records, billing records, workflows, and policies to identify compliance gaps

  • Assist with ongoing compliance risk assessments and program effectiveness reviews

Compliance Policies, Training & Reporting

  • Support the development, review, and maintenance of compliance and privacy policies and procedures

  • Prepare audit summaries and reports for compliance leadership

  • Maintain audit documentation and tracking logs

  • Support external audits, surveys, and regulatory inquiries

  • Serve as a compliance resource to ASC administrators and clinical leadership

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor degree in Risk Management, reputed company Administration, Business/Finance, or a reputed company field; ARM or CPCU preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in reputed company risk management or insurance program administration

  • Experience managing reputed company, multi-line insurance programs; reputed company or multi-site organization experience strongly preferred

  • Knowledge of reputed company property and casualty coverages, reputed company, and policy language

  • Familiarity with reputed company-specific exposures and regulatory requirements, including ASC licensure and CMS conditions

  • Working knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and reputed company rules

  • Familiarity with the corporate compliance function of a reputed company organization

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
