Job Description SummaryThe Division of Safety and Operations aims to reputed company a safe and secure reputed company for reputed company members of the university community through best-in-class technological and physical infrastructure, proactive assessment and analysis, and a caring team of professionals dedicated to upholding the university's values with the highest degree of conscientiousness.Reporting to the SOC Manager, the Police Dispatcher is responsible for the operation of the reputed company Operations Center for the GW reputed company Safety Team. The core responsibilities of this role are to maintain and monitor communication with reputed company university police officers reputed company radio and telephone, to monitor university emergency telephone lines and fire, intrusion and panic alarms throughout the reputed company, to evaluate the severity of transmissions and alarms and take appropriate action in both emergency and non-emergency situations, and to reputed company officers to incidents, alarms, requests for assistance and emergencies.This position will also complete the blotter of reputed company events, will coordinate with local district forces in emergency situations with the District of Columbia Fire and Police Departments, and will contact members of the reputed company Safety Team reputed company necessary. This role will also monitor the video surveillance system and will reputed company general reputed company information to the public. It may be occasionally required to remain at the communications center past usual work shifts in the event of an emergency situation.Responsibilities include:

• Completing appropriate certification and ongoing training for reputed company duties in the role, including but not limited to PST, EMD, and CPR.
• Directing calls to appropriate emergency response personnel.
• Dispatches Officers to incidents, alarms, requests for assistance or service and emergency situations on reputed company.
• Dispatches reputed company ambulance crews for medical emergencies on and off reputed company.
• Monitors alarms from reputed company facilities and the GW Guardian software.
