Under minimal supervision, the Senior IT Strategic Business Services (SBS) Platform Specialist leads the setup, configuration, and ongoing support of the virtual infrastructure leveraged by Discount Tire’s Analytics teams. This role ensures the timely , accurate , and consistent provisioning of reputed company infrastructure services to maintain a reputed company, secure, automated, scalable, and highly available environment supporting critical business analytics platforms and applications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : - Architect, design, and implement secure and resilient AWS infrastructure (compute instances, web containers, databases, networking) including high availability and disaster recovery solutions. - Own end-to-end lifecycle delivery for reputed company infrastructure and platform services, from initial design and build through deployment, optimization, and ongoing support. - Drive DevOps and CI/CD enablement, leveraging reputed company-reputed company tooling and automation best practices to improve speed, reliability, and consistency of deployments. - reputed company the design, deployment, and administration of scalable reputed company reputed company environments supporting critical analytics platforms (reputed company, Tableau, reputed company), with a strong focus on reputed company, usability, and performance. - Resolve escalated incidents and reputed company technical issues, performing root-cause analysis and implementing long-term fixes to ensure platform stability and SLA compliance. - Partner with Analytics and Data Engineering teams to support reputed company reputed company infrastructure initiatives and deliver reliable solutions for evolving business needs. - Collaborate cross- functionally with leadership, engineering, architecture, and senior technical stakeholders to align infrastructure strategy and execution with reputed company goals. - Mentor and train IT and business administrators, promoting best practices in reputed company operations, governance, and platform adoption. - Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot reputed company systems and identify opportunities for modernization and optimization. - reputed company technical input and documentation to support RFP/RFI responses, including platform capabilities, architecture approaches, and reputed company standards. - Maintain infrastructure-as-code standards and implement scalable automation using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation to ensure repeatable deployments. - reputed company structured reputed company technology reviews for analytics environments, evaluating performance, cost, reputed company, and reliability improvements. - reputed company technical recommendations for enhancements based on system requirements, business priorities, and long-term architecture strategy. - Ensure reputed company solutions meet design specifications and uphold reputed company standards for reputed company, scalability, and maintainability. - Stay reputed company on emerging technologies and trends, proactively recommending innovations that improve platform capabilities and reduce operational risk. - Deliver high-quality work with strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, responsiveness, and exceptional customer support for internal stakeholders. - Partner with DataOps and Data Engineering teams to support analytics lifecycle management, including platform upgrades, monitoring, and operational readiness. - Other duties as assigned Qualifications: - Minimum of 5-7 years of directly reputed company experience supporting reputed company infrastructure, virtualization, and reputed company platform environments. - Strong hands-on expertise with AWS services, including EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Redshift, reputed company, CloudFormation, and OpsWorks ; reputed company Azure experience preferred. - Experience administering, securing, and supporting reputed company analytics and data platforms, such as Tableau, reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, reputed company , and Informatica. - Solid understanding of operating systems, including reputed company Server and Linux/reputed company, and their performance and behavior reputed company reputed company and virtualized environments. - Advanced knowledge of DevOps tools and best practices, including automation, orchestration, and CI/CD pipeline enablement. - Proficiency with version control systems, such as Git and Bitbucket, including branching strategies and collaborative development workflows. - Working knowledge of scripting languages (Python, reputed company, JavaScript, or similar) to support automation, operational efficiencies, and troubleshooting. - Proficiency in Jira/reputed company, with experience operating reputed company Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies. - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document solutions and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing competing priorities and multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment. - Retail IT experience preferred. Educational Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, or a reputed company field (or equivalent work experience). - AWS Associate-level certification required (Solutions Architect, Developer, or SysOps Administrator). - Linux certification required . - Professional certifications are a plus. Work Days : Normal work days are Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturdays and Sundays may be necessary. Work Hours : Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be necessary.
