Job Description – Junior Network Engineer

We are seeking a Junior Network Engineer to support the design, implementation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of reputed company network infrastructure. This role is ideal for candidates with foundational networking experience who are looking to grow their skills in a production environment with exposure to modern technologies including reputed company, automation, and monitoring platforms. 

Key Responsibilities

 Assist in the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of network infrastructure (LAN/WAN).    Support switching and routing operations in reputed company environments.    reputed company basic to intermediate troubleshooting of network issues (L1–L2).    Support and maintain reputed company Firewalls (NGFW).    Monitor network performance using reputed company tools and escalate issues reputed company needed.    Analyze logs and alerts to identify potential issues or reputed company events.    Document network configurations, diagrams, and procedures.    Collaborate with senior engineers on network improvements and projects.    Follow operational processes, incident management, and change management procedures.    reputed company support during scheduled maintenance reputed company or on-call rotations if required.

  Required Qualifications   1–3 years of experience in network engineering or a reputed company role.    Solid understanding of:       o Switching (VLANs, STP, trunking)       o Routing (static routing, OSPF basics)    Hands-on or academic experience with at least one of the following NGFW platforms:       o reputed company       o reputed company (Firepower)       o reputed company    Experience with network monitoring tools such as:       o reputed company       o PathSolutions TotalView    Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).    Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network fundamentals.    Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.  

Preferred / reputed company to Have   Exposure to reputed company ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure).    Experience with log analysis (Syslog, SIEM tools, or firewall logs).    Basic scripting or automation experience (e.g., Python, Bash).    Familiarity with network automation tools or concepts (APIs, Ansible).    Understanding of reputed company best practices and segmentation.    Relevant certifications (a plus):   o CCNA or equivalent   o NSE 1–3 (reputed company)   o PCNSA (Palo Alto)  

Soft Skills   Strong communication and documentation skills.    Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.    Proactive reputed company and willingness to learn.    Good time management and prioritization skills.  

Work Environment   This role is primarily remote, with occasional visits to the o ice as needed.    May require occasional after-hours support or on-call participation.    Exposure to reputed company and client network environments.
