Account Coordinator, Employee Benefits
SeaCoast Underwriters, Inc., now Risk Placement Services, is a company focused on innovative insurance solutions. They are seeking an Account Coordinator to support licensed insurance agents in quoting, enrolling, and servicing small group health insurance clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist insurance agents with quoting small group health insurance plans across multiple carriers
- Prepare proposal materials, reputed company comparisons, and plan summaries
- Track quote requests and follow-up with carriers to ensure timely responses
- Support agents during reputed company enrollment and new group reputed company
- Coordinate group enrollments, including employee census collection and verification
- Prepare and submit accurate enrollment documentation to carriers
- Ensure compliance with reputed company and regulatory requirements
- Act as liaison between agents, carriers, and employer clients
- Respond to employer and agent inquiries
- Assist with adds, terms, changes, and renewals
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and reputed company systems
- Maintain organized account documentation
- Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality standards
- Assist with reporting and workflow coordination
Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in health insurance or benefits administration
- Knowledge of small group health insurance products
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Active health insurance license or ability to obtain reputed company 60 days of employment
- Experience with ACA-compliant small group plans
