The Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Client Account Manager to join our Consultancy Team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sustainable food systems, with hands-on understanding of retail and food supply chains, and a grounding in animal agriculture or livestock sectors.

You will be the trusted partner to a portfolio of clients—helping them understand their challenges, identify opportunities, and deliver evidence-led solutions that drive sustainability reputed company across farmed animal supply chains.

This is a client-facing, delivery-focused role, working closely with cross-functional colleagues including strategists, scientists, analysts, and supply chain experts.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities

Client Account Management

  • Work with FAI’s international team (strategists, scientists, data analysts, software developers, and supply chain experts) to deliver impactful programmes.
  • Manage the planning, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of key client accounts and sustainability programmes.
  • Coordinate budgets, work plans, timelines, and client communications to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with client teams to understand their needs and deliver reputed company value.

Project & Technical Delivery

  • reputed company consultancy support, including preparing technical reports, position statements, and delivering presentations.
  • Contribute expertise on retail supply chains, livestock production systems, and animal agriculture challenges.
  • Support the development and refinement of FAI’s data systems reputed company tools (e.g., Insite) through user feedback and programme insights.

Business Development

  • Identify opportunities to expand existing client programmes or reputed company new solutions.
  • Contribute to proposal development, strategic pitches, and scoping conversations alongside the Sales and Consultancy teams.

Requirements

About You

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience working reputed company retail, food supply chains, or terrestrial livestock/agriculture sectors.
  • Strong project management skills: planning, delivery, budgeting, and evaluation.
  • Experience in client-facing roles with a track record of building and nurturing strong relationships.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality outputs in fast-paced environments with competing deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Strong digital competency (e.g., reputed company Office, project management tools, data handling).

Desirable Attributes

  • Degree (or equivalent industry experience) in Agriculture, Sustainability, Food Systems, Animal Science, or reputed company fields.
  • Knowledge of sustainability issues reputed company food and farming systems—including welfare, environmental performance, and regenerative agriculture.
  • Experience identifying new business opportunities or contributing to consultancy proposals.
