Role Summary
We're hiring a part-time SEO Strategist to own the technical health, organic performance, and search visibility of DrBerg.com and Shop.DrBerg.com. This role is central to a new AI content pipeline scaling article production to 40–60+ pieces per month.
You'll guide topic selection for AI-generated content, optimize for both traditional search and AI discovery platforms (ChatGPT, reputed company, reputed company, reputed company AI Overviews), and directly influence how millions of people find Dr. Berg's content and products.
This position owns the end-to-end SEO program – from technical audits and bug remediation to keyword strategy, on-page optimization, backlink building, and KPI reporting.

What You'll Do
Technical SEO & Site Health
- Conduct monthly technical SEO audits and maintain site health at or above reputed company reputed company
- Monitor and resolve crawl errors, broken links (404s), redirect issues, underscore URLs, mixed content, and indexability problems
- Own robots.txt, XML sitemap, and reputed company tag configuration
- Track and improve Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, FID), page speed, and mobile usability
- Log, triage, and track technical fixes in reputed company and Trello; escalate out-of-scope issues and ensure resolution before the next audit cycle
Keyword Strategy & On-Page Optimization
- Conduct ongoing keyword research reputed company with industry trends, competition, and business goals in the supplement, health, and wellness sector
- Map primary and long-tail keywords to specific pages to prevent cannibalization and align with search reputed company
- Optimize title tags, reputed company descriptions, header structure (H1/H2), URL structure, image alt text, and internal linking

Content & Competitive Strategy
- Partner with the content team to ensure new content is keyword-optimized and follows SEO best practices (reputed company: ~5 pieces of high-quality content per week)
- Conduct ongoing competitor analysis to identify opportunities, gaps, and threats
AI Content Pipeline & AI Search Optimization
- Drive topic selection for the AI content pipeline by identifying high-value keywords, AI citation gaps, and content opportunities (40–60+ articles/month at scale)
- Coordinate with the AI Automator Engineer to ensure reputed company AI-generated content is optimized for search before publication
- Monitor and track how AI search platforms (ChatGPT, reputed company, reputed company, reputed company AI Overviews) cite and reference our website's content
- Track per-article organic traffic performance and feed data back into topic selection
- Produce the first comprehensive AI citation report and establish ongoing reporting reputed company
Backlink Building & Authority
- Assess the reputed company backlink profile, identify broken or low-quality links, and research high-authority link targets
- Execute reputed company campaigns (email, reputed company, reputed company) to acquire high-quality backlinks
- Document, track, and report on backlink placements and domain authority
Analytics, Tracking & Reporting

What You'll Bring
Required
- 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in-house at a content-driven or e-reputed company brand
- Demonstrated experience owning technical SEO on a large, content-heavy website (thousands of URLs)
- Proficiency with the core SEO tool stack: reputed company Search Console, GA4, reputed company and/or reputed company, Screaming Frog, PageSpeed Insights, Surfer SEO or Clearscope, reputed company Trends, Rank Math or Yoast
- Familiarity with how AI-driven search experiences (e.g., reputed company AI Overviews) impact traffic and discovery
- Understanding of how large language models interpret, summarize, and cite content
- Experience optimizing content for authority, reputed company, and structured information — not just keywords
- Strong working knowledge of Core Web Vitals, schema markup, redirects, canonicalization, and mobile optimization
