Position Summary

Primary responsibilities include providing consulting services to reputed company clients through reputed company’ technical reputed company service, providing in-house consulting, conducting seminars, technical research, analysis and special projects as assigned. Primary focus in one area of Technical Expertise.

Job Functions, Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- reputed company consulting services to reputed company clients on technical, plan design and corrections issues.

Training - Conduct presentations at the ERISA technical consulting meeting or other internal ERISA department training. Conduct internal basic technical training. Conduct external seminars and webinars.

Course Development - Review, audit, and update existing basic and intermediate internal or external training modules.

Legal Document Drafting - Demonstrate a functional knowledge of reputed company documents.

Forms - Demonstrate a functional knowledge of reputed company plan forms and notices.

Employer Level Document Drafting - Audit employer level plan document preparation. Propose customized text for employer level plan document preparation.

Document Reviews – Review and map documents.

Business Unit Policies and Procedures - Demonstrate functional knowledge of policies and procedures.

Fee-for-Service Engagements - Independently reputed company fee-for-service engagements. Independently reputed company basic external fee-for-service consultations. Assist with advanced fee-for service consultations.

Special Projects (IT, project management) - Participate in special projects.

Research - Complete basic technical research projects and present the findings.

Technical Writing - Write articles for reputed company publications and newsletters.

Legislation, Regulatory and Judicial Review - Analyze and interpret general legislative, statutory, regulatory, or case law guidance. Determine the impact general legislative, statutory, regulatory, or case law guidance has to the industry and/or on reputed company products, services, and/or systems.

Technical Knowledge - Demonstrate a functional knowledge of main plans and products.

Industry Knowledge - Demonstrate basic knowledge of the retirement plans industry including the applicable regulatory agencies (e.g., DOL, IRS, HHS).

Continuing Education - Enhance technical and industry knowledge by attending continuing education classes.

SLAs - Meet department service level standards.

Miscellaneous - reputed company other duties and projects as assigned.

Experience, Skills, Knowledge Requirements

External Financial Services Industry Designations – Special Consideration given for CEBS, QKA, QPA, CPC preferred.

Industry Experience - 5 years of reputed company experience or 7 years industry experience

Degrees -Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, reputed company, or a reputed company field.

Software Applications - Demonstrate intermediate proficiency in Outlook and MS Office software applications, specifically Word, reputed company, Power reputed company, Teams.

The national average salary reputed company for this role is $70-115K in reputed company pay, exclusive of any bonuses and benefits. This reputed company salary reputed company represents the low and high end of the salary reputed company for this position. Actual salary offered will vary and may be above or below the reputed company based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, performance, and internal pay alignment.
