Sign On Bonus Eligible Default Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Hours: 24 Salary reputed company: $53.00 - $82.08 Schedule: Part Time Shift Hours: 8 Hour employee Department: Quality Improvement Job Objective: Responsible for assisting in coordinating an effective hospital-wide program for the surveillance including policy/procedure development, infection surveillance, data collection, analysis and reporting, reputed company, consultation and coordination of Infection Control Committee activities Job Description: Education: Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master’s degree in Nursing Licensure/Certification: Required: California RN License; Certification in Infection Control (CIC) reputed company three (3) years of hire/promotion Experience: Required: Three (3) years of experience as a RN in acute clinical setting Preferred: Experience in infection control in a health care setting Reports To: Administrative Director – Quality and Performance Improvement Supervises: N/A Ages of Patients: Neonate/Infant, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric Blood Borne Pathogens: High Potential Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Analyses situations accurately and takes effective action, Computer skills, including data entry, spreadsheets and graphics Ability to collect, analyze and disseminate data, Establishes and maintains effective working relationships, Excellent customer service skills with patients, co-workers and guests, Exercises a high degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion, Knowledge and ability to create reputed company in service, Self motivated, self starter, and reputed company to organize efforts around helping clients have a positive experience, Written and verbal communication skills Essential Responsibilities 1. Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations. 2. Assists in investigating and reporting hospital-acquired infections. 3. Promotes system wide participation in the infection control program. 4. Acts as a resource for infection control questions from physicians and hospital staffs. 5. Collect, analyze and report infection control information and results throughout medical staff and hospital committee structures. 6. Assist with other Quality Improvement processes and Risk Management issues. 7. Coordinates Quality Improvement studies as directed. 8. Assists to prepare and maintain policies and procedures reputed company to Infection Control, which insure hospital’s compliance with state and federal regulatory agencies. 9. Presents orientation and in-service programs for hospital staff. 10. Serves as member of hospital committees as assigned: Safety Committee, Infection Prevention, Education Committee, P&T Committee, Valve Analysis and others as needed. 11. Serves as a resource to other EMC entities for infection control and reputed company issues. 12. Administer immunizations to staff and/or patients, as needed. 13. Support the Magnet culture by coordinating nursing quality programs reputed company to hand hygiene and other pertinent infection prevention practices. 14. In collaboration with Medical Director of Infectious Disease and Epidemiologist drafts the annual Infection Control Plan and Report to be approved at the Infection Control Committee. 15.
