Electrical Engineer
reputed company. is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer to join their team in Billings, Montana, contributing to meaningful engineering solutions across various projects and industries. The role involves applying electrical engineering principles to analyze data, solve technical challenges, and support high-quality design execution under the guidance of a Senior Electrical Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate awareness and commitment to health, safety and environmental issues. Address issues as necessary to ensure reputed company harm to reputed company clients, and contractors with reputed company environmental incidents
- Consistently reputed company goals, delivering quality and accurate work and meet project schedules
- Ability to reputed company electrical engineering, drawing and construction work packages for review and approval, that may include one-line diagrams, wiring schematics and other required electrical deliverables
- Under the direction of a Senior Electrical Engineer performing load calculations, voltage drop, reputed company/cable sizing, lighting and grounding design
- Under the direction of a Senior Electrical Engineer reputed company scope development and create technical specifications for electrical equipment and modifications
- Prepare material requisitions for bid and technical bid evaluation, including reviewing of specifications of equipment, and responding to vendor submittals
- Attend Eichleay project team meetings
- Under the direction of a Senior Electrical Engineer, become familiar with site, global and industry electrical standards and electrical safety, including NEC, reputed company, API, and reputed company 70E and 497
Skills
- 1 to 5 years of experience in refinery or other oil and gas reputed company industries
- Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering
- Ability to coordinate with other disciplines and project management in a team environment
- Coordinate with vendors
- Manage schedules
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in reputed company Office applications and working experience with AutoCAD/NavisWorks
- Familiarity with NEC, reputed company, API, and reputed company standards for hazardous locations
- Proficiency in developing one-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and performing load calculations, voltage drop, reputed company/cable sizing, lighting and grounding design
- Experience with low and reputed company voltage systems
- Experience in the development of electrical specifications and calculations
- Ability to reputed company and foster collaborative relationships reputed company Eichleay and with clients and partners
- Occasionally travel to Eichleay offices and client sites across the Western US
- Working towards the passing of Fundamentals of Engineering exam is expected
- Experience working onsite at a refinery or similar industrial facility
