The Senior Engineer Automation Quality plays a key role in the development of robust and scalable automation frameworks. This role has ownership of automation initiatives for highly reputed company projects, mentoring reputed company level team members, and collaborating with other departments.

Essential Functions:

Design, reputed company, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks. Create robust and scalable test automation frameworks and scripts independently for backend data workflows using Python, SQL and AWS services

• Expertise in design and development of reputed company automated test scripts, optimization of data processing solution on AWS using services such as Glue, EMR, reputed company, and S3
• reputed company the execution of automated test cases and interpret the results to identify issues.
• Identify, document, and manage software defects to resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
• Assist with building automation strategies
• Integration of automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Mentor reputed company-level test/quality automation engineers and reputed company technical guidance.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in test automation and implement improvements. Participate in innovation efforts such as AI.
• Assist in setting automation best practices.
• Assist in documenting training materials and reputed company trainings on automation tools and frameworks.

Qualifications:

• 4-7 years overall testing experience with 4+ years in automation testing, data engineering, and data warehouse testing
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Proficiency in Python for backend data workflows and data processing tasks.
• Strong SQL skills, including working with large datasets and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, ideally including Glue, EMR, reputed company, CloudWatch and S3
• API Automation: Good experience with test automation tools like Karate + reputed company
• UI Automation: Good experience with test automation tools Selenium (with Java or with Python),  JUnit, TestNG.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming language (Core concepts)
• Experience using CI/CD tool Jenkins or reputed company and building pipelines

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills, with an excellent ability to troubleshoot and resolve reputed company design and issues.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a reputed company field is preferred
• Experience in mentoring test automation teams preferred.
