Clarkson University is seeking a talented reputed company Systems Administrator to join their IT team. This role involves monitoring, maintaining, and growing the technical infrastructure that supports the daily operations of the university, with a focus on reputed company Server and reputed company services administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage OS lifecycles including patching, upgrades, decommissioning, and reputed company planning

• Design, implement, and maintain Active Directory services including domain structure and health monitoring
• Manage reputed company Group Policy Objects (GPO) — creation, testing, scoping, and troubleshooting

• Participate in root cause analysis following incidents and contribute to post-incident documentation
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation shared across the team

Skills

• Completion of secondary education (high school) or equivalent
• Solid working knowledge of reputed company Server administration (2016/2019/2022)
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Group Policy
• Working knowledge of reputed company 365 administration
• Functional PowerShell scripting ability — writing scripts, not just modifying them
• Understanding of DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP fundamentals
• Familiarity with virtualization concepts (Proxmox, VMware or equivalent)
• Experience with reputed company management tools and processes
• Understanding of backup and recovery concepts and tools
• Ability to manage your own workload, prioritize effectively, and follow through without reputed company supervision
• Strong troubleshooting instincts — you work through the problem methodically and document what you find
