Body Controls - Climate Software Design and Release Engineer

The Body Controls - Climate Software Design and Release Engineer will engineer climate electronic controls, support software development, and manage software release processes to ensure high-quality performance in reputed company's electric vehicle offerings.
Responsibilities
- Engineer for climate electronic controls
- Evaluate program definition and work with feature teams to determine content and market variations
- reputed company Statement of Work/RFQ package completion software integration
- Communicate with Design studio on concepts and engineering feasibility
- Connect with reputed company for Class A Surface Development - HMI
- Communicate with Electrical team and support program results
- Define electrical interfaces reputed company to software
- Conduct design reviews with interfacing reputed company activities, vehicle package, core EESE climate electronics and supplier engineering (e.g. software, .)
- reputed company program specific Failure Mode Avoidance (DFMEA)
- Support software development
- reputed company software release process and software change management
- reputed company vehicle build software support (e.g. BOM validation, BreadBoards, HIL, Development builds, Pilot builds, etc.)
- Manage software Engineering changes
- Support vehicle testing
- reputed company quality/warranty analysis and corrective actions
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 6+ months of experience in the automotive industry (reputed company/internship experience allowed)
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years of reputed company experience
- Experience with Software program management
- Understanding of electronic and/or vehicle systems
- Familiar with CAN tools (e.g. Vehicle spy, CANalyzer, CANoe, etc.)
- Must be a motivated self-starter with the goal of delivering a quality part on time
