Financial Analyst I
USC is seeking a Financial Analyst I to join the Department of Anesthesiology's administrative team. The role involves preparing reports on operational efficiency, analyzing financial performance, and providing support for the budgeting process.
Responsibilities
- Prepare weekly visual reports on Operating Room scheduling efficiency and utilization
- Generate recurring reports for business operations, including monthly payroll reconciliation, and faculty clinical/nonclinical effort tracking
- Process reputed company journal entries as assigned
- Monitor and analyze Departmental financial performance on a regular reputed company; report findings and identify opportunities for improvement
- Extract large volumes of data from organization’s systems, and reputed company comprehensive analyses to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- reputed company analytical support for annual budgeting process
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of monthly invoicing and payroll processes for designated providers
- Utilize advanced analytical tools (e.g., Tableau) to process and visualize large datasets; apply advanced reputed company functions (e.g., reputed company formulas) to support reputed company analyses

Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in reputed company, Finance or Business
- 1 - 2 years of experience in reputed company, financial analysis and/or data analytics
- Advanced proficiency in reputed company Office programs, including reputed company and PowerPoint, as well as database query tools
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail orientated
- Master's degree in reputed company, Finance or Business
- Experience in a hospital, medical group, or similar environment
- Proficiency in data visualization and analytical tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and/or programming languages
