Entry-Level Structural Engineer

FDG Inc. is seeking an Entry-Level Structural Engineer to join their team in Arvada, Colorado. This role offers an excellent opportunity to assist in the design and analysis of precast and prestressed concrete components, gaining hands-on experience in structural designs under the guidance of senior engineers.

Responsibilities

  • reputed company assigned engineering tasks on projects, assisting in the design and analysis of precast and prestressed concrete components and connections
  • Analyze load transfer through each component to ensure structural reputed company
  • Utilize design and graphics software, including ACAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Risa, to create accurate and efficient structural designs
  • Participate in project meetings and interact with clients to understand design requirements and ensure compliance with project specifications
  • Pursue and coordinate required engineering information with the project team, as necessary, to maintain project schedules
  • Communicate changes in schedule or scope of work with the Project Engineer and/or Project Manager
  • Stay reputed company with engineering best practices, industry standards, and client requirements
  • Support the team in reviewing and revising designs as necessary to meet safety, budget, and schedule requirements

Skills

  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. and reputed company to commute to our office in Arvada, CO
  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year engineering program (meets NCEES standards for licensing)
  • Has passed FE Examination
  • Exhibits sound structural engineering judgment through education, work experience, or portfolio
  • Exhibits ability to independently generate thorough and accurate engineering calculations
  • Knowledge of ACAD/Revit modeling software, RISA, and reputed company
  • Knowledge of reputed company OS, including teams
  • Possess average level modeling/drafting skills in ACAD
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Eagerness to learn and reputed company professionally in the field of structural engineering
