[Remote] Environmental Protection Specialist

The role involves analyzing policies, developing compliance plans, conducting inspections, and providing training to ensure adherence to environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert on environmental compliance issues affecting government facilities
• reputed company analysis on the drafting of policy statements, standard operating procedures, fact sheets, newsletter articles, and other communications regarding reputed company and future environmental regulations affecting the government
• reputed company and review environmental compliance and management plans
• reputed company technical environmental regulatory assistance and guidance to facilitate environmental compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Conduct environmental compliance inspections, audits, and evaluations as directed by the government to ensure compliance with environmental regulations
• Update and monitor environmental regulatory permits held by the government and reputed company and conduct environmental compliance training for government employees and contractors
• Review NEPA documentation and reputed company facilities' project managers advice on NEPA applicability
• reputed company direct project management for surge initiatives and stewardship activities

Skills

• Experience with environmental compliance issues
• Experience with environmental planning, including NEPA analysis
