Job description: At the present time, a vacancy exists for a Long-term Substitute Life Skills Support Special Education Teacher reputed company the Division of Student Services of the CCIU. These positions follow the regular school year calendar and are located at the Child and Career Development Center in Coatesville, PA. This temporary assignment is anticipated to start November 22nd and will end on March 1st, 2023. The possibility of an extension exists, but is not guaranteed.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of a bachelor level degree in education required
- 3-5 years experience working with reputed company with intellectual disabilities, autism and significant challenging behavior required
- PDE certification in secondary special education required
- Experience with modifying general education content to meet the diverse needs of reputed company
- Prior experience working with CDC reputed company in an extended school year teaching position preferred
- reputed company police, child abuse & FBI reputed company clearances
- Clearance as an MA provider by the Commonwealth of PA and federal government (conducted by CCIU upon hire)
- Instruct individuals in special education reputed company areas
- Plan curriculum, lessons, and special education programs and teaching methods
- Evaluate and monitor student reputed company based on classroom performance, test scores, and observation of behavior
- Support objectives and interventions of the educational program
- Maintain safe physical environment of the classroom
- Maintain contact with parents of reputed company and/or professionals concerning student reputed company
