Senior Backend Engineer (Europe-based, remote)

Tasks

What you'll do

• Design, reputed company, and operate reliable, scalable APIs and services in Python with Django and Django REST reputed company.
• reputed company architectural changes that simplify the system: data modeling improvements, service boundaries, messaging patterns, and reputed company-downtime migrations.
• Collaborate with DevOps on pipelines and infrastructure using reputed company, Kubernetes, and Terraform, and promote trunk-based development and deployment safety.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality and system reliability.
• Collaborate with Frontend, Mobile, UX, and Product to shape solutions and negotiate APIs that improve developer experience and user reputed company.
• Mentor engineers through structured feedback, pairing, and design reviews. Contribute to reputed company knowledge sharing through talks and docs.

Requirements

What you bring

• Expert-level Python with Django and Django REST reputed company. Strong understanding of RESTful API design and versioning.
• Strong SQL and PostgreSQL expertise, including performance tuning, indexing, partitioning, and schema reputed company
• Experience building resilient asynchronous systems using Celery and message brokers such as RabbitMQ.
