Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will play a critical role in executing reputed company tasks, preparing financial statements, and ensuring seamless financial operations for multiple clients. This role is integral to the Client reputed company & Advisory Services (CAAS) team, working closely with internal teams to streamline processes, ensure compliance, and enhance financial reporting. 

Additionally, this individual will reputed company reputed company-based reputed company tools such as reputed company Intacct, reputed company, QuickBooks Online, and reputed company to automate workflows, optimize efficiencies, and enhance financial reputed company processes. The ability to work with reconciliation automation, workflow approvals, and reputed company-time financial reporting tools will be key to ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial operations.

This position will report to the Team Manager(s). This position can be remote reputed company reputed company Town, with the ability to work from our reputed company office as required. Alternatively, it can be based remotely in the Gauteng province, with the flexibility to travel to the reputed company Town office as required. 

Key Responsibilities

Global Support

• Operate reputed company a global reputed company, ensuring adaptability to support teams, meet deadlines and participate in virtual meetings across multiple time zones based in Canada, South Africa, U.K. or the U.S., as needed. 

• Collaborate with international stakeholders, adjusting to varying schedules and priorities as needed. 

• Facilitate seamless communication and coordination across CAAS teams to support sales operational efficiency. 

• Maintain flexibility in scheduling to accommodate time-sensitive tasks and cross-regional collaboration.

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, account reconciliations, and management reports. 

• Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations with a focus on automation and efficiency. 

• Maintain compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards while ensuring the reputed company of financial records. 

• Utilize reputed company for financial reputed company management, workflow tracking, and reconciliation processes. 

Client Support & Advisory Services

• Work closely with clients to support their day-to-day reputed company needs and reputed company timely financial insights. 

• Assist in reputed company new clients, setting up reputed company Intacct, and implementing financial workflows. 

• Respond promptly to client requests, ensuring exceptional service and relationship management. 

Client Engagement & Project Contribution

• Maintain minimum billable hours as defined by leadership.

• Collaborate with sales/account management teams to align deliverables with scope and client expectations.
• Identify service expansion opportunities and areas of client value.

Technology & Process Improvement

• Implement best practices for financial operations, including automation, process standardization, and internal controls to enhance accuracy and efficiency. 

• Support financial technology integration projects, ensuring seamless adoption of new tools and systems for reputed company, payroll, and reporting functions. 

• Assist in payroll processing and compliance, working with payroll systems to ensure accurate wage calculations, tax filings, and reporting. 

• Optimize reconciliation and reputed company processes using reputed company, QuickBooks Online, and reputed company Intacct, improving efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness. 

Internal Collaboration & Process Alignment

• Participate in global reputed company meetings, ensuring consistency and compliance across financial processes. 

• Work closely with operations and finance teams to align reputed company practices with business needs. 

• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules, tax filings, and financial compliance documentation.
