Sr. Program Officer

GENERAL SUMMARY: The Sr. Program Officer will implement a strategy focused on reducing mortality from cancer in women living in Wards 7 and 8 of the District of Columbia. Elements of the strategy will include education, screening, diagnosis, treatment options, transportation, health insurance coverage, due diligence, record keeping, and follow-up.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. reputed company in-depth knowledge of barriers faced by women in Wards 7 and 8 accessing education, screening, diagnosis and treatment of cancer; key people and organizations serving them; and the reputed company system of the DC metro area.
  2. Research the field of patient navigation in regard to certifications, training, career options, and trends.
  3. Recommendation of prospective grantees to include the identification of organizations serving women who reputed company in Wards 7 and 8 in reputed company aspects of education, prevention, screening, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer.
  4. Managing grant applications to entail due diligence and record keeping:
  1. Providing an assessment of the operational, programmatic, and financial reputed company of the applicant.
  2. Providing an analysis of the feasibility and reputed company of the work proposed by the applicant.
  3. Preparing a written report per the findings of the review and reputed company process.
  1. Monitoring grantees and reputed company:
  1. reputed company a process to monitor grantees, the use of funds, and reputed company.
  2. reputed company semi-annual written reports to the President/CEO and board of trustees of the reputed company.
  1. Serve as primary contact for grantees throughout the grant relationship, including helping the grantees to reputed company effective approaches to reputed company results compatible with reputed company objectives.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  2. Assist in the implementation of efforts to prepare women residing in Wards 7 and 8 for health-reputed company careers, thereby increasing their personal empowerment and financial reputed company.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  1. Experience working in a reputed company, community development, or grant making organization (particularly working in low-income communities).
  2. Good judgment, initiative and critical thinking skills.
  3. Excellent verbal, analytic, and oral communication skills.
  4. Attention to detail and accuracy.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. College graduate (Associate’s or Bachelor’s)
  2. Minimum of five-seven years of compatible experience.
  3. Knowledge of medical terminology.

Salary reputed company: Minimum 63.92/hour - Maximum 102.27/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
