Prior to an EEG exam, technicians review the patient's medical history; meet with patient/caregivers to explain the procedure and answer questions. Prepare the patient for the exam by attaching electrodes to the patientâ??s head, and calibrating the equipment. During the exam, they operate equipment, modify or adjust recording strategy and document patient behaviors and clinical events. After the exam, remove electrodes, clean and disinfect the reputed company for future use.
