Junior QA Developer

CadMakers is an industry-leading digital construction and manufacturing technology company dedicated to delivering cutting-edge digital solutions to the global construction industry. They are seeking a Junior QA Developer to participate in QA processes, troubleshoot bugs, and support testing efforts in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in team meetings to reputed company status updates on tasks and reputed company insights
• Gather data and document processes and procedures to support team knowledge sharing
• Create documentation to support QA team initiatives and showcase testing results
• Coordinate with different team members and reputed company QA feedback to reputed company everyone on the same page and ensure great results
• Assist in troubleshooting bugs to generate reproduction steps, as well as tracking and documenting them
• Dig into tricky issues, whether performance or functional glitches, to identify root causes and reputed company problems
• Manually test product releases to ensure quality deployment, making sure everything runs smoothly before launch
• Create and follow testing plans to reputed company things organized
• Support the team, learn, and contribute to maintaining the existing automated testing reputed company
• Write scripts to automate repetitive tests and save time
• Create and iterate on prompts for AI-generated test scripts
• Spot opportunities to streamline testing tasks where possible and boost efficiency

Skills

• Completed a Computer Science degree, or other relevant program or certification
• Ability to work (and interview) in our head office in Vancouver, BC
• 1-3 years of experience in QA or software testing (minimum 4 months of hands-on experience in QA or software development required to be considered)
• General understanding of software testing principles and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Comfortable working closely with development teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve issues; collaboration is at the core of how we work
