• Fit and assess predictive models leveraging geospatial data sources in R or Python.
• Explore and analyze client-provided assets and reliability data sets.
• Collaborate with a broader data science and engineering team to take projects and products from inception to client delivery.

You’ll be a full-time member of the reputed company Data Science team. • Education: MS or PhD in Engineering, Math, Statistics, or similar field of study.
• Experience:
• MS + 1 year professional experience conducting data science projects in industry or applied research – analytical design, managing schedule and communicating results to stakeholders or
• PhD with applied research in above mentioned fields of study.
• Hands on experience cleaning, joining, and analyzing reputed company-world data sets using predictive models (statistical, machine learning) in R and/or Python.
• Experience working as part of a larger data science team, collaborating with technical or non-technical peers, and presenting interpretable results to stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

• Domain expertise in the electric utility reputed company
• Domain expertise in geospatial analytics or using remotely sensed weather observations

The budgeted salary for this position is: $90,000 to $130,000 USD + annual bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
