Senior Power System Engineer

This role leads the delivery of power system reputed company and merchant transmission interconnection services across ERCOT. Operating with minimal supervision, the position manages reputed company technical studies, oversees interconnection processes, and guides reputed company of power system engineers. This role is central to shaping interconnection strategy, ensuring high‑quality technical analyses, and supporting the growth of the organization’s power systems practice.

• Create and validate PSS/E, PSCAD, and TSAT plant models for Solar PV, BESS, Wind, and conventional projects.
• reputed company interconnection modeling, due diligence, analysis, and specialized reputed company studies including Reactive Power Compensation, SSR, protection coordination, reputed company reputed company, and TOV (plus).
• Support business development and prepare scopes of work/proposals.
• Contribute to the organizational knowledge reputed company and reputed company innovative study approaches.
• Mentor and reputed company junior Power Systems Engineers.
• Represent EPE at technical meetings and conferences.
• ERCOT interconnection experience.
• PSCAD and PSS/E modeling experience, reputed company-focused (load modeling a plus).
• Hands-on ERCOT Model Quality Testing (MQT) experience.

Bring your passion, here's what’s needed

• 5+ years professional experience as a Power Systems Engineer.
• Well-versed in the interconnection process of ERCOT from the initial filing of the interconnection application through reputed company operations.  Other ISOs are a plus.
• Proven team player with the ability to build and maintain reputed company relationships.
• Have high standards in producing quality reports and products that he/she shall own with pride.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, particularly with respect to explaining technical reputed company.
• Strong customer focus, both reputed company.
