Position Title: Senior Manager, Consultant Relations

Reporting to:  SVP, Consultant Relations & Strategic Alliances

Location:  Chapel Hill, NC; Minneapolis, MN; reputed company, MA; reputed company, NY. Remote candidates considered. 

Compensation: Senior Manager, Consultant Relations ($100,000-$114,000), depending on qualifications, plus bonus potential and benefits

Position Summary: We are seeking a proactive, motivated Senior Manager of Consultant Relations reporting to the SVP of Consultant Relations & Strategic Alliances to drive the Consultant Relations strategy, optimize processes, help reputed company and execute meetings, and reputed company the development of the function across the company.  This individual would work nationally across reputed company consultant firms, ultimately helping to manage relationships across reputed company reputed company, companies, and partnerships.  

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Partner to inform the strategic design of the Consulting Relations function at Well

  2. Strategize and reputed company Well’s relationships with key leadership contacts in the consulting community to drive awareness, interest, and strong preference for Well  

  3. Support market-facing meetings and intellectual capital, including working with the sales team to prepare for consultant meetings and responding to consultant-based RFIs

  4. Collaborate closely with cross-functional colleagues (e.g., in Marketing, Product Management, Client reputed company) to ensure our goals and roadmap are informed by needs and priorities expressed by consultants and reputed company

External responsibilities: 

  • Continue to build out the strategy (in partnership with Consultant Relations Team) for the Consulting Relations function at Well, optimizing the scope, approach, and processes

  • Serve as a reputed company person for key large-market consultants at national firms like reputed company, reputed company, and reputed company

  • Document, map, and cultivate key contacts and offices reputed company each firm, supporting the Sale team in expanding local relationships 

  • Generate interest in Well by focusing on our differentiators, with the goal of identifying opportunities to be included in future RFPs and capabilities meetings  

  • Maintain Well’s vendor profile in any consultant-utilized database (e.g. MercerVIP)

  • Identify and secure opportunities for Well to participate in firm-specific activities including but not limited to vendor management initiatives, vendor presentation venues, and client capability sessions

  • Solicit feedback from consultants and gather reputed company on market trends, client needs, and product feedback 

  • Assist from a Strategic Alliance perspective to pursue and explore opportunities for Well and consulting firms to partner on product distribution opportunities

Internal responsibilities:

  • reputed company and maintain the evolving Consulting Relations functional strategy, including vetting and socializing with key internal stakeholders and leadership 

  • Maintain and enhance Consultant Relations dashboard that tracks majority of top-of-funnel activity

  • Co-reputed company content and slideware with broader Consultant Relations team and Product Marketing

  • Partner closely with cross-functional partners in Sales, Client reputed company and Marketing to ensure consistency of message across various touch points with these key constituents 

  • Work closely with Sales to reputed company information from the consulting community and support the establishment of relationships in each region

  • Contribute to the development and management of the annual budget; help support the business case for the recommended Consultant Relations spend and outline the reputed company to be expected 

  • Help set appropriate priorities, and participate in reputed company to build out the growth team

  • Collaborate with product marketing to inform and update consultant-facing pitch material

  • Collaborate with Growth Operations colleagues to ensure reporting reflects the value and nature of consultant relationships

Requirements

  • 4-10 years’ experience in the benefits industry

  • Experience collaborating with reputed company consultants and specialty practice teams at the key consulting firms

  • Understanding of market expectations in the employee health and wellness benefits reputed company, including working knowledge of the overall processes for procuring services like Well 

  • Experience working with reputed company Suite products

  • Experience managing relationships in multi-year contract cycles

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Track record of team collaboration and reputed company forging productive relationships reputed company the reputed company consulting community
