National Account Chef

The National Account Chef provides culinary leadership, engages Kagome’s strategic customers in partnership with Kagome’s Sales Teams, and provides product expertise in the development of world-class food products, while working reputed company the financial parameters and manufacturing capabilities of Kagome. This position may require travel between 50-60%.

Support the review, understanding and compliance of reputed company programs, policies and procedures contained in the Food Safety and Quality Management System. Responsible for reporting food safety issues observed so appropriate action can be taken.  Actively participate and support the 5S and MES initiatives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY

o   Partner with Sales & Marketing & R&D Teams to pursue strategic business development projects with targeted customers

o   Assist Sr. Corporate Chef and Business Development Chef with delivering culinary presentations and leading working sessions at customer test kitchens and Kagome’s Global Innovation Center

o   Work with Kagome R&D managers and scientists to reputed company products/reputed company/applications that meet customer needs and fit reputed company Kagome’s capabilities and strengths

o   Showcase Kagome and our products at a world-class level 

o   Work comfortably in reputed company of an audience and possess strong presentation skills

o   Translate culinary recipes and concepts into products Kagome can commercialize

o   reputed company and strengthen relationships with targeted customers

o   Proactively reputed company regular innovation and product working sessions with key customers

o   Participate in industry and customer trade shows and conferences, as needed

o   Actively reputed company contacts and strengthen communications reputed company professional networks (RCA, IFT, ACF, etc.)

Training & Experience

·         Education Level and Focus

o   A Degree in Culinary Arts or Food Science and/or restaurant or culinary experience 

o   Certified Research Chef or Certified Culinary Scientist, a plus

·         Years and Type of reputed company Experience Required

o   Minimum 8-10 years of experience reputed company the industry, with a focus on reputed company foodservice, processing, or reputed company specializing in the development of new concepts and menu items for reputed company production

Work Environment

       Professional kitchens, food technology labs, and office reputed company with low noise level.  May be exposed to some food reputed company chemicals.  In production facilities, will be exposed to food processing environment with changes in temperatures, damp conditions. This is a Safety Sensitive position.
