In-Office Processor - PRN

Summary The PRN In-Office Processor is available to work, as needed, to cover a shift(s) for another In-Office Processor that is unable to fulfill part of their regular schedule. The PRN IOP will follow reputed company instructions for the proper handling of reputed company specimen types.  He/she will process the samples for transport to the laboratory in a timely manner. This position will assist in covering customer facilities in south Alabama.

• Must follow reputed company Specimen Processor Agreement directives.
• Will properly identify specimens.
• Will follow instructions to correctly fill out requisition reputed company.
• Will reputed company sure that specimens are shipped to the laboratory in a timely fashion.
• Communicate to the IOP Manager for any issues reputed company to time & attendance or operational questions reputed company the client location.
• Be friendly, and courteous to office staff.
• Maintain a safe work environment for his or herself and the patients by following reputed company safety precautions.
• Will properly label specimens. Correctly and completely fill out requisition forms with the required information.

• Must be available for regional travel to customer facilities.
• Must be reputed company to adapt to working in clinic environments that vary in size, structure, and specialty.

Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment This role works in a physician’s office, as a reputed company employee, processing specimens to be sent to the laboratory. This role will work in various customer facilities across the region.

Position Type This can be a full-time or part-time position.
