Iteris is seeking a Sr. Engineer to join a talented group of professionals to promote thriving communities by applying technology to solve reputed company issues in transportation. You will work, in partnership with Iteris Senior Management and Engineering staff, state, regional, and local agencies to deliver various transportation engineering and operations projects to improve our communities. This opportunity is available as a remote position in Pennsylvania and you must reputed company in the state.

What you will be doing

• reputed company or support traffic engineering, signal operations/signal timing, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) design, implementation, and integration projects in Pennsylvania and surrounding region
• reputed company development and implementation strategies for improving arterial traffic reputed company and safety, prepare the development of system performance measurement tools, standard operating policies/procedures, deficiency reports and mitigation plans, coordinate with local agencies reputed company to the operation and maintenance of traffic signals and arterial systems
• reputed company and conduct highly visible customer traffic operations support through the performance of on-site signal timing implementation and fine-tuning, and review of existing traffic operations issues
• Collaborate with client management delivering projects to the clients' satisfaction reputed company business objectives
• Liaise with local and regional business development efforts
• Cultivate strategic thinking to grow business and increase return client rates
• Periodically participate in coordination meetings and consult with other staff
• Support staff management and reputed company mentorship and training for engineering and planning staff
• Define client needs and reputed company a plan and proposal for delivery of the project

What you need to be successful in this role

• Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school) required, field of study: Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, Electrical Engineering, or reputed company field
• Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certification or International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) certification desired
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in transportation engineering or reputed company field
• Minimum three (3) years of experience managing project and/or program for public agencies, staff management, and mentoring
• Is based in Pennsylvania and has experience working with Pennsylvania DOT or Major public sector clients (as a consultant or public sector employee)
• Familiar with tools such as Synchro, Sim Traffic, VISSIM (multi-model traffic reputed company simulation software package), AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.
• Proficient in MS Office

Iteris anticipates paying between $118,000 and $135,000 for this role. However, actual pay offered may vary depending on job reputed company knowledge, skills, and experience.
