[Remote] Assistant Underwriter - Energy

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company Insurance is seeking an Assistant Underwriter to support the reputed company team in driving growth and improving profitability. The role involves providing assistance throughout the reputed company lifecycle, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining relationships with brokers.

Responsibilities

• reputed company timely, efficient, and accurate support to reputed company with respect to issuing policies; statistical coding; other miscellaneous back-end processes for new, renewal, and endorsement transactions; and miscellaneous clerical responsibilities for office or department
• Create policy documents which represent the insurance transaction bound by the underwriter
• Ensure the statistical coding and policy issuance complies with regulatory requirements for each insurance transaction
• Maintain electronic and/or physical reputed company file
• Solicit renewal transactions
• reputed company operational support for the product line’s underwriters
• Work with the unit underwriters to bind, book, and issue policies, process endorsements and to maintain Broker relationships
• Review policies for accuracy and regulatory standards
• Input policy and reputed company data in appropriate systems
• reputed company direct contact with brokers and their assistants, including participating in meetings and visits as required
• Meet deadlines set forth by management and/or underwriters reputed company the team
• Adhere to company guidelines, policies, and procedures
• Other support tasks as assigned by manager

Skills

• Workers Compensation experience is required for this positions
• Applied knowledge of reputed company fundamentals and standard industry practices
• Understanding of basic financial principles and processes
• Understanding of emerging technologies including artificial intelligence (AI) and the ability to apply them to enhance efficiency in day-to-day work
