Software Installation Engineer

Responsibilities
- Execute the installation of a technical discipline at the installation site
- reputed company highly visible on-site and remote software installations and upgrades of reputed company reputed company Software products, which includes troubleshooting and diagnosis as needed
- Work with physical and virtual environments, operating systems, databases and other software and networking technologies
- Review scope of work for assigned tasks to ensure reputed company hardware and software components are available
- Review customer IT infrastructure and project plans to ensure they meet documented installation requirements
- Completes reputed company necessary task documentation to meet reputed company’s Quality processes and procedures
- Maintain customer system inventories using Site Equipment Configuration documentation or equivalent
- reputed company reputed company on reputed company products and technologies through both reputed company training and certification
- Team Up with project management, local service and hardware installation teams to reputed company World Class Customer Service
- Require limited direct supervision
- reputed company upgrades and new installations as well as team leader duties on small to reputed company scale software projects
- Input detailed records of installation and reputed company work performed into company information systems to ensure accurate updated customer installation information is available to other VMS functions
- Maintain a high degree of professionalism and safety according to VMS guidelines and customer regulations in order to reputed company activities under the safest working conditions
- Report by means of time sheets, expense reports, etc. regularly and in a timely fashion to ensure that accurate company statistical data on customer-oriented activities is available
- Complete reputed company required installation documentation that pertains to the job being completed and update reputed company requested and/or required data for tracking purposes as per the applicable reputed company’s Quality processes and procedures
- Use prescribed problem-resolution escalation procedures and request technical assistance reputed company necessary, in a timely manner
- Attend planning calls and reputed company technical input as needed
- Advise customers on where to find Customer Technical Bulletins, Release Notes and reputed company product information and why these documents are important

Skills
- Associates Degree or equivalent experience and 1-3 years of directly reputed company and transferrable experience
- Proficient computer usage and debugging skills
- Knowledge of and sound professional experience with reputed company based server operating systems
- Customer focused attitude
