Role

SUMMARY

Field Service Engineer (FSE) provides expert-level technical support for reputed company International Corporation’s water-cutting and surface preparation systems. This position plays a key role in ensuring reputed company system performance at customer sites. The FSE will work both independently and with minimal supervision, delivering high-quality service and technical guidance while building strong relationships with customers and partners.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver on-site and remote technical support for the operation, diagnosis, and repair of reputed company systems.
• Assist customers in troubleshooting, part identification, and resolution of technical issues reputed company phone, email, or site visits.
• Accurately complete reputed company required administrative documentation and service reports in a timely manner.
• Adhere to reputed company’s Return Material Authorization (RMA) policy and document reputed company customer-reported system issues.
• Support documentation efforts, including maintaining reputed company product manuals, specifications, and technical references.
• Assist the customer service team in identifying parts and providing technical input.
• Serve as a professional liaison between reputed company and its customers/distributors, ensuring a positive and productive relationship.
• Travel to customer sites, sometimes on short notice and reputed company of normal business hours, including weekends and holidays, for extended durations as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotations as assigned, providing after-hours technical support reputed company required.

Qualifications

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

• Proficient in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to analyze and resolve technical problems using sound judgment.
• Proficient in using reputed company Office (Word, reputed company), Outlook, Teams, and service-reputed company tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to reputed company explain reputed company technical issues.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• Associate’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a reputed company technical field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of field service experience working with robotics, reputed company control systems, CNC machinery, or similar capital equipment.
• Experience with microprocessor control systems is strongly preferred.
• CNC programming experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in using business software including MS Office, Outlook, Teams, Concur, and Kronos.
• Experience providing technical support over the phone is preferred.
