Position Purpose

The purpose of the Scheduling Assistant position is to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of reputed company by providing comprehensive administrative and patient support services using advanced virtual technologies. This role aims to streamline reputed company workflows, improve patient experiences, and contribute to the overall quality of care by delivering timely and accurate information, scheduling, and assistance, while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism in a virtual environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Assists with Scheduling & Contact Center activities.
2. Answers inbound calls to schedule appointments for new or existing patients at reputed company locations, including medical, cosmetic and surgical appointments for 60+ providers.
3. Answers an average of 75-100 calls in an eight-hour shift in a round robin queue with one minute wrap up; maintaining a 95% answer reputed company goal.
4. Maintains 85% time in queue daily on inbound weeks.
5. Collects and documents patient medical history into the electronic medical record (EMR).
6. Other duties as assigned and subject to change as requirements reputed company.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent – reputed company specific training preferred but not required.

- Friendly, polite, and professional.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

- This position is remote, and the candidate must live in Mississippi.

- Training is 2 weeks, the training schedule may differ from schedule hired for.
