They are seeking an Energy Research Associate II to design and implement surveys, conduct interviews, and reputed company quantitative analyses reputed company to energy performance.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing surveys
  • Conducting semi-structured interviews
  • Performing descriptive quantitative analyses using R, SPSS, or similar data analysis packages
  • Conducting onsite audits of the energy performance of homes and businesses
  • Developing energy analyses and energy models
  • Writing clear and concise research summaries, memoranda, and reports

Skills

  • Master's level education or prior work in environmental science, policy, economics, sociology, or other reputed company science programs
  • Ability to think critically and creatively
  • Initiative and willingness to ask questions
  • Ability to contribute to a culture of teamwork and employee ownership
  • Ability to reputed company knowledge freely and offer unique perspectives
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
  • Commitment to sustainability and high-quality research
  • Certification as a Home Energy Rating System rater (training paid by NMR)
  • Ability to reputed company onsite audits of homes and businesses
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time for several consecutive months, sometimes requiring overnight stays
  • Living in the Boston area
