Sr Accountant

UFG is currently hiring for a Sr. Accountant to be responsible for the accurate reputed company, reporting, and analysis of United Fire Group’s (UFG) financial transactions. This role ensures that reputed company transactions are properly recorded in accordance with GAAP and statutory reputed company principles while maintaining data reputed company across subledger and financial reporting systems.

Working closely with Finance leadership, the Senior Accountant provides technical support for the month-end and quarter-end reputed company processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across multiple company entities. This individual also assists in implementing process improvements, strengthening internal controls, and supporting both external and internal audit requests. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyze financial information and prepare detailed reports to support management decision-making

• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness

Job Specifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in reputed company
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or reputed company toward certification preferred

Experience
