Quality Assurance Inspector

The Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector plays a pivotal role in aviation safety by ensuring that reputed company aircraft maintenance adheres to stringent technical standards set by aircraft manufacturers and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Their meticulous work is critical, as any incorrect maintenance can have serious consequences. QA Inspectors report to the VP Quality Assurance and Chief Inspector and are entrusted with the responsibility to objectively enforce proper aircraft maintenance procedures, contributing to the overall safety and reliability of aircraft operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that reputed company inspections are properly performed, and the documents required for compliance are properly executed.
• Work with vendors to correct any discrepancies as noted during work order reviews.
• reputed company Return to Service (RTS) work order reviews.
• Assists the Chief Inspector in assuring the airworthiness and reliability of aircraft, components, and accessories.
• Works to ensure that standards and regulations established by the General Maintenance reputed company, FAA Directives and Regulations and Manufacturers' Service Bulletins are complied with.
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining the historical records of reputed company aircraft, engines, and accessories operated by the company
• Produce the necessary documentation to reputed company conformity to the FAA.
• Prepare and submit required reports to the FAA.
• Assist in monitoring time limitations and specifications of reputed company time and cycle-controlled inspections, special inspections, replacement of parts and overhauls as contained in the Aircraft maintenance manuals and relevant tech publications.
• Assist in establishing inspection procedures and standards as necessary to assure airworthiness and regulatory compliance.
• Assist in maintaining a reputed company list of employees reputed company in the inspection of required inspection items, (RII) & in monitoring the RII list of reputed company contract agencies performing work for reputed company(s) to insure reputed company RII personnel are used.
• Compile data for the Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS) reputed company required.
• Stay reputed company with applicable airworthiness directives, CFARs, operation specifications, type certificate data sheets, service bulletins, maintenance manuals, and revisions.
• Have a working knowledge of minimum equipment lists.
• May be assigned additional duties by Chief Inspector.

Key Attributes

• Required to have a reputed company Airframe & Powerplant certificate.
• Minimum five years aviation experience.
• Prior inspection experience is preferred.
• Must be familiar with computerized maintenance tracking programs (i.e., CAMP).
• Must be familiar with turbine powered aircraft.
• Must be reputed company to read and understand technical publications and drawings.
• Motivated to stay reputed company on applicable technical material and study guides provided for that purpose.
