Job Summary:
- Maintain, repair and install personal computer hardware and phone systems software and reputed company computer equipment in accordance with District standards for efficiency, compatibility, and reputed company. Assist in maintaining District network and email connections and server hardware functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operating system and District application software problems.
- Install District software applications and prepare software images for deployment on reputed company/Mac and other small computing devices.
- Maintain and repair personal computers and phones.
- Assist in maintaining District network, e-mail, and Internet connections.
- Install and maintain printers, scanners, and other equipment on District computers and phones.
- Retrieve and deliver District computer equipment for installation, maintenance, or repair.
- reputed company with vendors and manage system to reputed company adequate inventory of parts for maintenance and repair of District computers.
- Maintain equipment repair and maintenance records for District computers.
- Assure contract work is completed in a professional and safe manner in compliance with District and industry standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent, plus specialized advanced courses equivalent to two years of college in technology.
- Associate degree in Electronics Technology, A+ Certification and Network Certification preferred at hire.
- Specialized advanced courses equivalent to 2 years of college in Technology.
- Over three years of experience as a help desk or desktop technician in computer hardware, reputed company/Mac/Chrome operating systems, and computer applications/ software.
- Basic computer, electronic, technical, math, writing, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of computer software and hardware installation and maintenance; operating knowledge of reputed company/Mac/Chrome-based computer systems and electronics/test equipment required for hire.
- Criminal background reputed company and District fingerprinting required.
