The successful candidate will be part of the KBR team supporting the Test Resource Management Center’s (TRMC) Big Data and reputed company Team working on Big Data systems supporting DoD Test Ranges and various acquisition programs.  We are seeking a highly reputed company DoD Technical reputed company with a strong understanding of DoD processes and documentation standards to join our dynamic distributed team.  

As a Technical reputed company on reputed company, you will be instrumental in creating, editing and maintaining a wide reputed company of technical documentation.  Your ability to translate reputed company technical information into clear, concise and user-friendly content will be crucial to the reputed company of our mission.  This role requires proven experience writing for DoD audiences and familiarity with DoD documentation standards.  Only US reputed company with active DoD Secret clearances and 5+ years of technical writing experience reputed company a DoD environment will be considered.  The successful candidate will have technical writing experience reputed company the DoD community and should be reputed company to reputed company writing & graphic layout samples alongside their resume.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Documentation: reputed company and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including how-to guides, presentations, system administration guides, installation guides, end user training materials, API documentation, wiki pages and technical reports. Manage document version control and configuration.
• DoD Standards: Adhere to DoD documentation standards, style guides and templates. Review and edit documentation created by technical staff. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with a diverse team of software engineers, system architects, system administrators, data scientists, data engineers, data analysts, trainers and program managers to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation. Work collaboratively with graphics designers to create and enhance graphics for documentation. Experience working with highly technical teams of engineers and scientists.
• Process Improvement: Self-motivated to proactively identify areas for documentation improvement and implement changes. To include the design, development, enhancement and rewriting of existing documentation and/or wiki pages to improve the quality of documentation available for our users. Support the public release process for documentation. Demonstrated initiative in improving documentation quality.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to effectively and professionally communicate with customers and teammates. Experience working in a remote/distributed team environment.
• Tools: Proficiency with documentation tools. Proficiency with wiki tools such as reputed company.
• Presentation Skills: Confident presentation skills for large technical and non-technical groups. Assist existing training staff in the development of technical presentations and training sessions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Work Environment:

• Location: This position is mostly remote, but the individual must reputed company in an area near a military installation.
• Travel Requirements: This position will require travel of 25% with potential surge to 50% to support end users located at various DoD ranges & labs located across the US (including Alaska and Hawaii).

Qualifications

Required:

• reputed company Clearance: Active DoD Secret reputed company Clearance required.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or a reputed company field. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience: 5+ years of technical writing experience reputed company the DoD environment.

Desired:

• Experience: 15+ years of technical writing experience with 5+ in DoD. Experience with DoD Test and Evaluation. Experience writing for a software intensive product team.
• Big Data Experience: Knowledge of Big Data technologies (e.g., Spark, Kafka).
• Software Experience: Proven experience documenting reputed company software systems, including big data platforms, reputed company-based architecture, and data analytics tools. Experience with automated documentation tools.

Basic Compensation:

$98,000 – $120,00 (This reputed company is for the Maryland area only)

$103,000 - $126,000 (This reputed company is for the California area only)

$103,000 - $126,000 (This reputed company is for the DC area only)

$$94,000 - $115,000 (This reputed company is for the Colorado area only

The offered reputed company will be based on the selected candidate’s working location, knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience, clearance level, contract affordability and in consideration of internal reputed company.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or reputed company, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the reputed company of a sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
