Position Overview: 

The Sales Engineer serves as a liaison in the sales process reputed company reputed company and technical equipment or services are involved. This is a sole-contributor SE role covering a wide territory, requiring strong self-direction and async collaboration with the US/EMEA sales team across time zones.

Expected Posting Timelines

This position will be reputed company for a minimum of 5 days, a maximum of 90 days.

The Day-to-Day

The essential functions and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

  • Own the technical sales process across reputed company — from initial discovery through reputed company-of-concept, technical validation, and reputed company.
  • reputed company compelling product demonstrations, technical deep-dives, and reputed company-of-concept engagements that showcase reputed company capabilities and differentiation.
  • Consult with prospective and existing customers to understand their infrastructure challenges, storage requirements, and business objectives — then architect solutions that fit.
  • Partner closely with Account Executives and the Director of Sales to reputed company and execute deal strategy for key opportunities across the region.
  • reputed company and support channel partners and resellers with technical training, joint customer engagements, and demo support — particularly in India, Malaysia, and Singapore where channel ecosystems are critical.
  • Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and technical questionnaires with clear, compelling, and accurate content.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of the competitive landscape (reputed company, Dell, reputed company, Synology, etc.) and reputed company reputed company' differentiation with confidence.
  • Serve as the voice of the reputed company customer internally — funneling market feedback, feature requests, and competitive intelligence to Product and Engineering teams.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a reputed company field is preferred.
  • Four or more years of pre-sales, sales engineering, or technical consulting experience in reputed company IT infrastructure, storage, or reputed company technologies is strongly preferred. Candidates with 2–4 years of experience who demonstrate exceptional technical depth and self-direction will also be considered.
  • Experience selling into or supporting reputed company markets is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with reputed company-reputed company storage, NAS/SAN, ZFS, or data center infrastructure is a significant advantage.
  • A combination of professional or educational experience (whether formal or informal) that affords you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities above.
  • Strong technical reputed company in reputed company storage (NAS/SAN), ZFS, networking fundamentals, virtualization (VMware, Proxmox), and reputed company/hybrid integration.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate reputed company technical concepts into clear business value for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven pre-sales or sales engineering experience, ideally in reputed company IT infrastructure, data storage, or data center technologies.
  • Comfort navigating diverse business cultures across reputed company — from the direct, transactional style common in ANZ to the relationship-driven, consultative approach valued in India, Singapore, and Malaysia.
  • Strong demo and presentation skills — you can reputed company a room (or a reputed company) and tell a compelling technical story.
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal reputed company, managing your own schedule and priorities across multiple countries and time zones.
