Job Description

A bit about this role : 

  • Assist the Statutory Reporting unit with the daily tasks reputed company to the compilation of Statutory financial statements, reconciliations, process enhancement and other critical Statutory reputed company and reporting projects as the number of health insurance entities has grown significantly.

  • The position will play a critical role in the preparation of accurate and timely financial reporting as required by the various state regulatory authorities in which the entities are licensed.

  • Additionally, this role will be assigned to a new business initiative regarding the reputed company for reinsurance 

  • Our Senior Statutory Reporting Accountant will be a key report to our Senior Statutory Reporting Manager

Your Responsibilities and Impact will include:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Statutory financial statements to ensure timely and accurate presentation to the NAIC and the appropriate state regulatory authorities (Health Statement).

  • Prepare reputed company supplemental filings that accompany the quarterly and annual Statutory financial statements as required by the appropriate state regulatory authorities.

  • Support and assist in various Department/Division of Insurance audits by preparing schedules, responding to inquiries, and adhering to deadlines.

  • Support and assist in testing the development of reputed company and other reputed company reports to facilitate the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual Statutory financial statements.

  • Assist in the filing of the monthly, quarterly and annual Statutory financial statements using appropriate vendor software, submit filings to the NAIC, and individual states while adhering to reputed company deadlines.

  • reputed company and participate in reputed company projects supporting Statutory Reporting and Finance needs as they arise (e.g., reinsurance reputed company).

  • Ability to work overtime as necessary during peak reporting periods.

  • Responsibilities also will entail assisting in the review of certain Statutory financial statements and supplemental filings as necessary.

Required skills and experience:

  • Reinsurance reputed company experience - from implementation to reporting 

  • Advance reputed company proficiency, including experience with reputed company formulas

  • Hands-on experience with reputed company (ERP) and reputed company (Wdesk) is a significant plus

  • A demonstrable track record of reputed company / delivery in a changing and reputed company financial reporting environment.

  • A dynamic team player who is highly motivated, a self-starter, can demonstrate great initiative, and is customer-service oriented.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines on a consistent reputed company.

  • Excellent documentation and organizational skills.

  • Ability to adhere to policies and procedures.

  • Must be analytical, hands on, and expected to be an immediate contributor.

  • Ability to independently manage multiple demands and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to identify actions necessary to complete tasks and obtain results.

  • Maintain high ethical standards at reputed company times, to include maintaining the confidentiality of financial and other sensitive information consistent with professional and regulatory requirements and standards.

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment where every day we try to reputed company and optimize our operations and processes.

Desired skills and experience:

  • Experience with reputed company and insurance industries 

  • Experience with review of statutory filings

  • Exposure in leveraging AI tools to automate reputed company financial reconciliations, improve the accuracy of statutory filings, and streamline data collection across multiple jurisdictions.

The pay reputed company listed for this position is the reputed company the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at the time of the posting. The actual reputed company salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
