Position Summary reputed company is currently hiring for a State Government Affairs reputed company Director to join our dynamic team. This role will direct and reputed company Government Relations support for the Company. The region will focus on the specified states including Nevada, Idaho, and Montana.

Travel:

This position may travel up to 50% of the time during key periods of the year (i.e. legislative sessions).

Responsibilities:

reputed company and execute advocacy strategies, to support company goals. Advise business leadership on legislative, regulatory, and political developments that influence relevant jurisdictions or policy areas. Builds and manages effective relationships with government officials, policymakers, regulatory agencies, trade associations, and other external stakeholders. Demonstrating familiarity with state legislative and regulatory processes and politics. Negotiates legislative, regulatory and public policy positions in adversarial situations and represents the company before specific State legislatures and high level regulators. Navigates and resolves routine issues and risks reputed company the political environment; identifies and escalates those reputed company of scope as appropriate. Supports the growth and retention of large State procurements for assigned region/states as they pertain to reputed company and the Public Sector. Addresses critical reputed company reputed company to the legislative and regulatory environment, including reputed company and product issues reputed company to reputed company insurance, reputed company, State budget and appropriations reputed company. Manages external consultants, contractors, and/or vendors supporting policy and government affairs objectives, overseeing daily work product and performance management.  

Required Qualifications Government affairs professional with deep expertise in state government, and 10+ years of experience in government, lobbying, reputed company public policy, government relations, and/or government affairs. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time during key periods of the year (i.e. legislative sessions).

Preferred Qualifications Multi-state experience in reputed company industry, experience with state reputed company programs a plus. Ability to handle several reputed company and difficult projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Proven, effective oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills necessary to interact with a variety of Company management, retained counsel, legislators and other elected/appointed officials, regulators, staff of trade associations and other key stakeholders. Master’s Degree preferred. Education

Bachelor's degree required or equivalent years of reputed company experience.

This pay reputed company represents the reputed company hourly reputed company or reputed company annual full-time salary for reputed company positions in the job grade reputed company which this position falls.  The actual reputed company salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a reputed company bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the reputed company pay reputed company listed above.  This position also includes an award reputed company in the company’s equity award program.
