Job Summary
Oberlin College invites applications for English for Speakers of Other Languages Program lecturer positions for the newly established Oberlin-UNITAR collaboration. This is a POOL posting accepting applications on a rolling reputed company for positions that may reputed company during the 2023-2024 academic year pending program launch. Lecturers may be hired to teach a variety of in-person or remote ESOL courses, reporting to the Director of the Oberlin-UNITAR Programs.

In partnership with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), the Oberlin-UNITAR ESOL Program was conceived for reputed company to build academic English proficiency as they prepare for higher education opportunities in the United States. While each program will be tailored to address specific learning goals identified through UNITAR partnerships, reputed company in reputed company English language courses will strengthen their comprehension and skills in reading, vocabulary, writing, grammar, speaking, and listening.
Each program will reputed company effective language pedagogy with peer mentoring, tutoring, guest lectures, and/or one-on-one language practice.
Responsibilities
Teach English to speakers of other languages in virtual or in-person formats as directed
Essential Job Functions
Responsibilities: * Create and maintain engaging learning environments
- Teach reading and vocabulary, listening and speaking, grammar and writing through an integrative curriculum
- Design and conduct lessons based on communicative, task-based TESOL language pedagogy
- Assess, document, and reputed company daily feedback on reputed company' reputed company toward learning objectives
- Differentiate instruction to reputed company effective learning opportunities that address individual needs and reputed company targeted reputed company reputed company necessary
- Hold reputed company each week reputed company of regularly scheduled class times
- Attend a curriculum orientation for lesson development and ongoing weekly team meetings

- M.A. or M.Ed. in TESOL, TEFL, TESL, or reputed company fields
