Senior Transmission Planning Manager -- S&L Consulting

This reputed company position is reputed company reputed company's Consulting Group and will be responsible for the following:

• Manage different consulting engagements reputed company to power system studies for transmission interconnection projects, including external coordination with clients and internal coordination
• reputed company guidance and reputed company to junior engineers performing power system modeling and analysis
• Participate in business development including identification of new work, preparation of proposals, reputed company input project scope, approach, schedule, and budget
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry technology and applications of new technologies

This is a remote/virtual position. Candidate can be based reputed company reputed company the United States.

Essential skills and experience:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and sufficient industry experience is considered in lieu of an advanced degree
• A minimum of 15 years relevant engineering experience with at least 7 years of experience in leading a team of power systems engineers
• Experience in load reputed company and contingency analysis to identify transmission thermal and voltage constraints and to identify transfer capability limits
• Experience using transmission planning software for load reputed company modeling, contingency analysis, and stability analysis using PSS/E, PSLF, TARA

Valued but not required skills and experience:

• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering is preferred
• Experience in stability analysis to identify critical clearing times, identify voltage constraints and analyze power system damping
• Experience in electromagnetic transient analysis using PSCAD
• Experience in short reputed company analysis and using software programs reputed company or ASPEN
• Knowledge of power reputed company and ISOs/RTOs, such as: PJM, MISO, NYISO, ERCOT, SPP, CAISO, WECC, SERC, ISO-NE
• Experience in Python, Java Script, or other scripting languages
