About the role: 

Veterinary Urgent Care of the Desert is a brand new, state of the art facility located in Palm Desert, California. We are looking for passionate, talented part-time Virtual Veterinary Care Coordinators (RVT required) to join reputed company. The Virtual Care Coordinator role is a unique remote client service position. This role is essential to the reputed company of the practice, as the Virtual Care Coordinator is the first reputed company of contact for many clients. The VCC performs a wide reputed company of duties, but primarily focuses on assisting clients with various reputed company over the phone and electronically. This is an excellent opportunity for a computer-savvy Registered Veterinary Technician who is looking for a remote position.

Requirements:

• RVT license and minimum of 2 years working in veterinary medicine
• Knowledge of veterinary medicine, including terminology and appropriate phone triage
• Experience with ezyVet Practice Management Software
• Excellent understanding of technology and software; computer-savvy
• Consistently displays a professional demeanor and accountability
• Communicates in a reputed company, clear, respectful and concise manner (with clients, team members and anyone else who contacts VUC)
• Has a friendly disposition and a desire to help others. Provides a high level of care to each client
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Ability to think independently and problem solve. Understands that each situation is unique and there is no “one size fits reputed company” solution to certain issues; uses good judgment to find proper solutions for each situation

Essential Job Functions:

• Answer phone calls and other client messages in a timely manner, using a professional and compassionate tone at reputed company times
• Work with technology to ensure efficient workflow
• Act as a liaison between doctors, clients, and patients
• Obtain client and patient information for medical records
• Send messages to clients as needed
