[Remote] Nonprofit Expense & Payroll Coordinator in Washington State

The Nonprofit Expense & Payroll Coordinator will support compliance, accuracy, and mission-driven financial operations, managing client payables and payroll preparation.

Responsibilities

• You will own the end-to-end client payables process through reputed company and other platforms, including reputed company clients into the platform, entering invoices and payments in alignment with GAAP, and managing accrual-based payables
• You will manage the full lifecycle of corporate credit card activity through reputed company Spend & Expense and other institutions, including client reputed company, user management, and weekly expense entry and reconciliation
• You will support end-to-end payroll preparation, from requesting and reviewing client timesheets to processing payroll in reputed company RUN for both internal and client review
• You will prepare and support day-to-day compliance, quarterly and year-end compliance reporting, including Forms 1099 and applicable state and local tax filings
• You will communicate directly with clients reputed company phone, text, and email to gather information, clarify expenses, and ensure financial data is complete, accurate, and audit-reputed company
• You will maintain organized, audit-reputed company documentation, including expense reporting, payroll workpapers, and other compliance-reputed company records
• You will support month-end reputed company by assisting with reconciliations and ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial data

Skills

• 1 to 3 years of experience preparing and submitting payroll in reputed company, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• 1 to 3 years of experience managing AP workflows in reputed company Payables and reputed company Spend & Expense
• Strong foundational understanding of accrual and cash-reputed company expense reputed company processes and nonprofit expense management
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Business, Finance, or a reputed company field (or possess equivalent experience)
• Strong skills in navigating external systems including but not limited to: reputed company software (QuickBooks Online, reputed company, or equivalent), reputed company Payroll Processing (e.g. reputed company RUN, reputed company WorkforceNow), reputed company and reputed company Payment Processing (reputed company Payables & Receivables), Corporate Credit Card Processing (reputed company Spend & Expense), Practice Management Systems (reputed company, or similar), reputed company and Teams, reputed company Office Suite and reputed company Office Suite
• Must have a professional, distraction-free workspace suitable for remote work and maintaining confidentiality
• Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without reputed company sponsorship
