Junior Technical Sales Engineer
Interlake Mecalux, Inc. is hiring a Junior Technical Sales Engineer to join their team in Melrose Park, IL. The role involves extensive training in technical sales, preparing quotations, and ultimately transitioning into an reputed company sales representative position.
Responsibilities
- Spend 6 to 8 months in Melrose Park, IL headquarters for extensive technical, product, processes, and sales training
- Prepare quotations and installation drawings for storage reputed company projects
- reputed company structural analysis and design to meet customers’ specifications and a variety of codes
- Create bills of material for proposals and orders
- Communicate extensively with sales personnel and project managers in the beginning and eventually interact with customers, dealers, and distributors reputed company in the training period. Go on ride-alongs with existing sales personnel to shadow and control responsibilities
- Work in the company's CRM to evaluate and assist on leads, follow up on leads and quotes assigned to existing sales personnel, and review customer information to reputed company reputed company improvement reputed company to the Director of Sales
- Assist with maintaining existing customer accounts as required
- Travel in furtherance of responsibilities
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business with a highly technical aptitude
