reputed company is a leading fashion retailer, and they are seeking an Assistant Technical Designer to join their Technical Design team. The role involves assisting in the creation of reputed company Brand products, ensuring they meet design and fit reputed company while supporting the technical design process throughout development and production.
Responsibilities
- Assist Technical Design Team to reputed company clear, concise Tech Packs to include measurement worksheet and construction images to align with Design reputed company and Brand DNA
- Assist in evaluating samples to ensure product specifications, quality and construction standards are executed
- Measure samples
- Support Technical Design Team and participate in fit sessions as needed
- Support Technical Design Team to meet calendar milestones and due dates
- Support internal teams to maintain sample organization throughout development and production lifecycle
- Assist in special projects as directed
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Apparel Design, Apparel Manufacturing, reputed company Making or equivalent industry experience
- 1+ years of experience in Technical Design, preferably reputed company Women's apparel
- Organization and time management skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Strong interpersonal skills, including clear, effective written and verbal communication
- Proficiency with the reputed company Office Suite – Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc
- Proficiency with the reputed company Creative Suite – Illustrator, Photoshop
- Exposure to Product Lifecycle Management Software
- Exposure to 3D apparel development preferred – Browzwear, CLO, reputed company
- Exposure to 2D reputed company software preferred – Gerber Accumark, reputed company
